Self-Destructive or Suicidal Tendencies

In Jesus’ name I renounce all suicidal thoughts and any and all attempts I’ve made to take my own life or in any way to injure myself. I confess _______________________( name each sin or self-destruction that comes to your mind) and put it under the blood of Jesus. I renounce the lie that life is hopeless and I can find peace and freedom by taking my own life.

Satan is a thief and comes to steal, kill and destroy. I put any access and demons' claim to my life or to my family under the blood of Jesus. In Jesus’ name I cover all that with the blood of Jesus. I choose LIFE in CHRIST Who came to give me life and give it abundantly. Thank You God for Your forgiveness that allows me to forgive myself. I choose to believe that there is always hope in Christ.

God is SOVEREIGN in all things including the day of one’s birth, his parents and the day of one’s death. Man nor Satan has any control over life or death, only God has that power. Some say “Satan is trying to kill me” – perhaps he is but he cannot kill a person, only God has the power of life and death, there are no exceptions ever.

ECCL 8:8 “No man has authority to restrain the wind with the wind, or authority over the DAY of DEATH….”

Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of HIS godly ones”

PSALM 68:20 “God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death”

Man can affect the quality of his life but he can never end his life. When any person dies, and all will die, that exact time has been determined by our all-powerful God Almighty. Remember the words of Paul in 1 COR 15:22 "...in Christ ALL shall live"
