Identifying FAMILY TREE Problems – Use in Deliverance Ministry

I. Identify, if possible, by name, the people in your family who …

1. Were very superstitious, involved in pagan worship, the occult, witchcraft or in a cult

2. Died in tragic ways ( Suicide, accident, murder, etc. )

3. Had miscarriages, abortions or stillborn babies

4. Died without being saved or committed to God

5. May have died feeling unloved or abandoned ( in mental institution, nursing home, prison, etc )

6. Who was orphaned or whose parents divorced when they were at young age

7. Were considered “outcast”, rejects or “black sheep” of the family

8. Had problems with addictions ( alcohol, drugs, food, sexual, work etc )

9. Were depressive, bitter, unforgiving, critical, angry, vengeful, etc )

10. Were involved in sexual perversions ( adultery, porno, prostitution, incest, etc )

II. Identify what you consider to be patterns of sin in your family tree

1. Bitterness, anger, temper, criticalness, jealousy

2. Racial prejudices, vengefulness, holding grudges

3. Materialism, greed, selfishness, hoarding

4. Marital problems, divorce, multiple marriages

5. Pride, status conscientiousness, arrogance

6. Incest, sexual abuse, spousal abuse, infidelity

III. Identify health problems or physical weaknesses that seem to be prominent in the family tree

1. Blood problems – high blood pressure, diabetes, low blood pressure, heart

2. Bone and joint problems – Arthritis, broken bones, scoliosis, back problems

3. Skin problems – Acne, psoriasis, warts

4. Nerve problems – Nervous breakdowns, migraines, shingles

5. Respiratory problems – Asthma, allergies

6. Mental problems – Insanity, learning disabilities, schizophrenia, retardation
